Teknologic engineers have been involved in projects with the U.S. military and other government agencies for many years. Managing sensitive documents on such projects is a time consuming, yet vital activity. In order to control the printing of sensitive documents, Teknologic has developed SecurePrint(TM) software. SecurePrint(TM) is a Microsoft Windows utility that intercepts print jobs and prompts the user to enter important document information (such as classification level, disposition, and control number) in a persistent pop-up window. The user name is recorded with this information in a log file located in a secure directory. This log file may then be examined by the program security officer using the SecurePrint(TM) Viewer. With SecurePrint(TM) , there is no longer any question of who printed what document when.
